Mentorship day with Cannula for Patient experience & safety

Are you trained to use an aesthetic cannula but still not confident or never used one at all?

We aim to tailor this course to the requirements of your patient and your aesthetic practice as an individual practitioner and therefore ask you to bring one of your patients with indications for which you wish to excel at and perfect.

Time to focus on the practical element is the main objective of this session.

At Facethetics Training, we consider that using an aesthetic cannula for aesthetic injections should form part of your foundation building block.  This course will enable you to provide a better experience for your patient whether you be at the beginning of your aesthetic journey or advanced.

This course will explain the benefits of using a cannula and give clear understanding of when it is more appropriate than using a needle.  You will also discover, however, where needles are still the most effective approach.

Through utilising what you learn on this course you will find your patients have less discomfort, experience greater satisfaction due to less bruising and you as a practitioner will experience fewer complications.

You will learn essential theory before having the opportunity to practice on your live patient.

The course will focus on where you need to develop your cannula skills and technique when injecting the face, including the lips.

Areas we can cover are:

  • Cheeks
  • Jawline
  • Lips
  • Nasolabial Folds
  • Marionette Lines

Is the Cannula Course open to anyone?

The course is open to doctors, dentists and nurses and HCPC practitioners listed above who are trained in foundation level dermal fillers.

We would of course require that you have been trained to inject the areas you wish to inject with cannula.  For example, if you wish to perform a cheek augmentation with cannula, we would ask that you have completed cheek augmentation training.
